The Announcement
Jesse Liesch and Kathleen Guinto will be married on Sunday August 24th, 2014. That is less than 6 months from the date of this post.
The wedding will be held at Pine Rose Cabins in Lake Arrowhead. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at 10:00 p.m.
Lake Arrowhead is a 90 minute drive from most places in LA and Orange County. It’s easy to get there. Most of the trip up the mountain is on a 4 lane highway. The last few miles are a 2 lane road.
The closest airport is Ontario airport.
Lodging
We will provide lodging on Saturday and Sunday night for family and out of town guests who are not arriving from Southern California. Sleeping arrangements will be in lodges that have several bedrooms. The lodges are rustic and comfortable but may be lacking in privacy.
Feel free to contact Pine Rose Cabins and reserve a cabin if you would like to make your own personal lodging arrangement. You will receive a 10% discount if you book before April 18th. Act quickly! Cabins are already starting to sell out. If you want to stay overnight and don’t act fast you may end up sleeping on the floor of a lodge reserved for our most boisterous guests.
Do not feel obligated to stay over night. We understand that you have work and other obligations and may not be able to take a day off. Enjoy the event however you like.
Dress
Our wedding will not be a formal affair. Dress for the heat because it will be warm (80+ degrees F, 27+ degrees C). It will cool off at night so bring a jacket.
Men may want to wear a dress shirt or a button down shirt and dockers or dress pants. No jeans, shorts, or technical pants. Sorry. Women may be comfortable in a sun dress. Kids may be happiest in a swimsuit.
Other Details
Kids and pets are welcome. There is a pool, jungle gym, foosball table, ping pong and other games. Additional rules will be provided later.
Interested in making a weekend out of it? A lot of us will be there on Saturday. There is tons of fun stuff to do in the area.
